Salary/Rate: Up to £120,000 per annum + benefits
Job Title: SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist
A fantastic opportunity for an SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist to join a Global SAP Systems Integrator.
The position is paying up to £120,000 per annum plus an excellent commission scheme (see below). The role also comes with a car allowance of £5,000 as well as excellent benefits including 10% Pension contribution.
Commission Scheme:
The commission scheme pays out based on deal value, margin deal team make up (whether the person is the sole sales lead or not) and the nature of the business (New, New Existing, Fertilisation or Renewal). It is capped at £300k per deal so there is obviously the ability to earn a lot on the plan. I would expect, however, that we would probably be looking at an OTE of c. £200k (£120k base + £80k commission).
The role can be 100% remote working with frequent travel to customer sites throughout the UK. Our client also has offices based in London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, and Livingston.
The SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist will report to the Sales Director for UK and Northern Europe.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Candidates wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate at interview that they have led and closed large SAP deals worth £4 million – £10 million. Candidates who are currently working in a SAP Pre-Sales role and who want to move over to a purely SAP Sales role would be ideal for this position of SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist.
It is mandatory that candidates have an in-depth knowledge of SAP Solutioning, preferably in any of the following sectors: Manufacturing, Automotive, or Pharmaceutical.
The SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist is required to drive pipeline growth and €12M + of new business per annum. The role sits within the Manufacturing industry with responsibility for driving sales growth into new and existing manufacturing accounts. Responsibilities include:
1. Manage end-to-end sales activities from deal pipeline to offer sign-off for hunting and farming on new and existing accounts, pulling through entire portfolio and capability.
2. Spot new sales opportunities for growth: Identify and qualify opportunities to establish a pipeline which will meet sales targets.
3. Identify and influence decision makers, influencers, and stakeholders (internal and external) at CxO level – help to develop our clients market presence in Manufacturing.
4. Establish value propositions and win strategies for all qualified opportunities.
5. Lead business development campaigns within target accounts and manage Atos stakeholders involved in the account management & bid process (e.g. marketing and product teams, offerings specialists, bid managers, alliance & partners etc.). Drive stakeholders through the entire internal engagement sales processes and anticipate client demands.
What is great about working for our client?
The Sales Director encourages a collaborative working environment and will place a high importance on mentoring and supporting the SAP Business Development and Sales Specialist. This can include accompanying the SAP Sales Specialist on customer presentations.
The company has an excellent reputation in the marketplace and when required puts doing the right thing for their customer ahead of profit.
