About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineering Specialist to join our team at Venesky Brown. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site surveys and precision setting-out to ensure accurate positioning of structures and infrastructure.
* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide construction activities.
* Liaise with the design team, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Monitor and inspect construction work to verify compliance with design standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
* Provide technical support to site operatives, subcontractors, and junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
* Educational Background: Degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
* Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a site engineering role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction techniques, processes, and materials.
* Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using surveying equipment, CAD software, and other engineering tools and technologies.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex technical information and make informed decisions.
* Communication & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Health & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
