Temporary Receptionist
Location: Swindon-based
Duration: 3-month contract (may be extended)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organised Temporary Receptionist to join our client's team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, providing excellent customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
* Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
* Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings.
* Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
* Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges).
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Friendly and professional demeanour.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications will be a plus.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
