Job Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse, you will lead the team and be involved in continuous assessments, planning, and evaluation of the residents' needs and wishes:
* Providing excellent nursing care and support to our residents
* Overseeing all aspects of medicine management and ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
* Creating and carrying out treatment plans
* Offering a safe, caring, and stable environment to the people we support
* Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines
* Supporting the Service Manager with key targets by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth manner
* Supporting, guiding, teaching, and mentoring other members of your team
* Working individually and in partnership with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold a current registration with the NMC and have a relevant Nursing qualification. You will also need to demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude, adequate knowledge, experience, and a clear understanding of the nursing role and its professional boundaries.
