Admin Assistant, Telford
Location: Based in Telford (but with travel to other boroughs for pick-ups, you may also be required to visit our sites in South Yorkshire for training and development as needed)
Hours: Part-time position (15 hours per week, Mon - Fri)
Salary: £9,600 per annum (pro rata) Based on £24,000 full-time salary

Who will I be impacting the lives of?
All of our learners have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and as a result, all have some level of additional need. Some of the most common areas of need that we see are Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASC), and ADHD, although we work with learners with a much broader range of needs.
We currently have projects in Rotherham, Barnsley, London and The Midlands.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the uploading of learner documents on systems including CPOMS and HUBmis
* To assist in the organisation of student folders and documents on-site
* Responsible for the filing of paperwork, archiving and storage of confidential documents
* Where necessary, placing orders for supplies, stationary, equipment etc. for the programme
* Composing and sending letters and other means of communication to learners, parents and other agencies/professionals
* Registering learners for and ordering exams through the exam boards e.g. AQA, NCFE etc.
* Assist in the uploading of invoices and receipts onto the relevant banking app (Revolut) and recording spending on an Excel spreadsheet
* Liaising with the National Business Administrator and Finance & Recruitment Manager about any bookkeeping and spending queries
* Where necessary, booking maintenance checks for the programmes. E.g. boiler servicing, fire equipment checks etc.
* Posting of job adverts in local areas and organisations
* To attend meetings as scheduled
* To respond to emails/correspondence in a timely manner
* To assist Change Leader in admin tasks as and when required e.g. Booking hotels, training, transport etc.
* Whilst on site, to help create and maintain a safe environment for our young people where they feel confident to approach any member of staff if they have a worry or problem
* To understand that safeguarding is a key responsibility of your role and that any safeguarding concerns must be passed on to the relevant staff member as set out in the company’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
* To familiarise yourself with the company's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
* To work effectively as a key member of the Really NEET team, establishing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, parents/carers, students and other professionals, recognising that you are a representative of Really NEET and upholding the company ethos at all times
* To meet the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
* To familiarise yourself with the Staff Handbook
* To undertake any training that the company deems necessary
* To undertake any additional responsibilities as needed by the organisation

What to expect from the recruitment process –
* Application form submitted and reviewed by the panel
* Shortlisted candidates invited to a first-stage interview
* Candidates who are successful at the first stage interview will be invited for a second stage assessment which may consist of an in-tray task, scenario presentation or micro-teach along with time with the learners and a tour of the workplace
* Candidate selection – the panel will review any applications and a selection decision made
* Recruitment Manager will make contact with applicants to let them know the outcome of their interviews
All applications must be submitted by Wednesday 19th February 2025 with interviews being held the following week. All candidates should be notified of the outcome of interviews within 3 working days (subject to change).
