Cirrus Logic is looking for a skilled Senior/Staff Product Test Engineer to contribute to our global success story at our state-of-the-art Edinburgh office. Operating in the UK, using excellent technical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, you will have the opportunity to develop new test techniques and methodologies to test, characterise and qualify our ICs. You will also be given the chance to share your knowledge and develop more junior members of the team. Responsibilities
* Design innovative multi-sites hardware and software solutions to achieve low Test Time and minimise Production costs
* Optimise and monitor Production Yield
* Develop robust and precise ATE Characterisation and Qualification solutions
* Collaborate with IC design engineers to define Test methodologies and lead Design for Test efforts pre-silicon
* Drive continuous improvement within the organisation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with proven experience in Test Engineering for mixed-signal products
* Expertise in Semiconductor Testing and development on IC Production Automated Test Equipment
* Advanced knowledge of PCB layout and schematic design
* Hands-on experience with bench equipment
* Deep understanding of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics - interest in audio engineering would be desirable
* Experience working in a commercially driven organisation as part of a product development team
* Excellent time management skills and able to work to tight and variable time scales, plan and manage own workload
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Development experience on Teradyne UltraFLEX and/or FLEX
* Visual Basic, C/C++ and Python programming skills
* Data analysis software (JMP, Spotfire)
* PCB Schematics design (Mentor Graphics PADS or Xpedition)
* Understanding of audio and/or power management test techniques
* Communication and presentation skills
This position is on-site and located in Edinburgh, UK.
