POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, the successful candidate will work as part of a regional finance team based in Manchester, providing analytical support to the wider team. A function that provides robust and adaptive support in a fast paced, commercial environment and can provide valuable insight for a global organisation that continues to grow both organically and through acquisition.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Involved in preparations of monthly rolling forecasts to the Corporate team.
* Provide accurate monthly Client Profitability analysis for the regions sites using various reports and systems to gather data and allocate costs accordingly.
* Provide accurate monthly hours report for the UK customers on the customer profitability list.
* Support EMEA Customer Profitability lead with client meetings, ad-hoc financial modelling and BPC reporting (Financial Deep-Dive / Reviews / 360 Job Reviews).
* Stewardship of automated customer profitability reporting, ensuring SAP COPA entries are loaded and reports produced and shared on time.
* Support the finance business partners team with monthly month-end review process, reporting on actuals vs forecast/budget.
* Involved in preparations of monthly rolling forecasts to the Corporate team.
* Support the annual budget process by providing financial data to the budget owners and helping to complete budget templates for the development and deployment sites.
* Provide ad hoc cost analysis, retrieving data from the various systems to highlight overspend vs budget by site and by cost centre.
* Analytical support on pricing and tender submissions for new and existing contract.
* The role will offer the opportunity to be involved in executive level analysis and reporting and you will be expected to be a pro-active contributor to ideas and projects that will improve the efficiency of the finance department and help add value across the business with the potential to take finance business partner ownership for one of the sites after 12 months.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage own time and priorities to adhere to strict deadlines.
* Microsoft Office abilities and experience with SAP preferred.
* Comfortable working with multiple systems and large volumes of data.
* Ability to work autonomously and at the same time pro-actively work with various functions across the business to gather financial and non-financial data.
* Determination to get to the root cause of any data inaccuracies and resolve any issue.
