Objectives
• To deliver complete and accurate eir evo monthly management accounts in line with Group timescales.
• To provide monthly financial reports and packs as may be required.
• To provide accurate input and support in preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit.
• To provide support to the eir evo NI Financial Controller.
• To provide support to the eir evo NI Sales Team.
• To provide support as may be required on open-eir, office, property, and government reporting.
Key Tasks
Financial Accounting
In conjunction with the finance team:
• Ensure production of the monthly management accounts including margin analysis.
• Prepare & process month-end journals to support the accounting close of eNI accounts in compliance with all relevant company accounting policies (upload to accounting system – SAP).
• Maintain adequate records of all journals in compliance with internal controls policies.
• Provide financial reporting to NI financial controller as required.
• Ensure maintenance of financial systems and records in compliance with internal control policies.
• Ensure complete and accurate Billing of customers both on manual and developing IT systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices both internally and externally generated.
• SAP customer account set up and management.
• Oversee credit control activities.
• Oversee and process purchasing requests (COUPA) for internal approval and issue as PO’s.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
• SAP vendor set up and management.
• Assist the NI Financial controller with the provision of budgets and forecasts for eir evo activities in NI and GB.
• Work with other teams in both NI and ROI to facilitate provision of all of the above.
• Work with IT in development of systems impacting on financial reporting.
• Review monthly vendor payments from Group.
• Review and agree inter-company transactions within the group.
• Review and resolution of the goods receipt invoice receipts (GR-IR) account during the month ahead of month end close.
• Oversee cost minimisation / reduction, liaise with Group and Group purchasing team as required.
Commercial activity
• Work with NI team to ensure projects delivered per contract, agreed commercials from which invoiced.
• Review of costs for both ongoing services and new project services.
• Provide support for eir evo online portal “marketplace”, including revenues and costs correctly allocated.
Other
• Support financial reporting for other eir verticals within the company with no access to UK01 on SAP.
• Purchasing on COUPA and SAP journals as may be required for:
• Property
• Datacomms / Open-eir
• IT /CTO
• eir evo Talent UK
• Ad Hoc Project work as may be required.
• Government statutorily required reporting for eircom UK Ltd re NI, e.g. Quarterly Business Survey, Quarterly Acquisitions and Disposals of Capital assets survey, Annual purchasing survey.
• Any other items as may be required.
