We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Reflection Centre Manager on behalf of a school committed to improving student behaviour and outcomes. This is a key role aimed at supporting a positive school environment where discipline and respect are central values. This is a permanent, full-time position beginning from January 2025.
Role Overview:
As the Reflection Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the school's Reflection Centre, ensuring that high standards of behaviour are upheld. The role will focus on helping students reflect on their behaviour, while supporting them to improve punctuality, attendance, and academic progress. You will play an essential part in reducing classroom disruption and creating an atmosphere where learning is prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Reflection Centre, maintaining a disciplined and calm environment.
Ensure pupils comply with the Reflection Centre curriculum and produce high-quality work.
Develop and manage strategies to reduce repeat referrals to the centre, including writing Personal Support Plans (PSPs) for pupils.
Facilitate restorative justice conversations between pupils and staff to prevent future behaviour issues.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, providing regular updates on pupil behaviour and progress.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other staff members to support student development and behaviour improvement.
Support the wider school community by coaching staff on behaviour management strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behaviour management, with experience leading or working within a similar environment. You’ll be passionate about making a difference in students’ lives, maintaining a calm and professional approach even in challenging situations.

Strong behaviour management skills with experience in leading a positive and successful culture within a school setting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
Experience in managing challenging behaviour and using restorative approaches to resolve conflicts.
An organised and resilient individual, capable of managing a high-paced environment.
