2. Be involved in sketching, prototyping, and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team.
3. Understand qualitative research methods.
4. Have an awareness of costs and budgets.
5. Put users at the center of a design to make it simple, easy to use, and visually appealing.
6. Be confident in your presentation skills to present the stages of the design development to business users.
7. Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including web developers and programmers.
8. Have technical knowledge to explain what needs doing to programmers.
9. Ensure websites comply with the law.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Proven experience as a UX Researcher.
2. Mixture of creative and technical skills.
3. Excellent team working skills.
4. Verbal communication skills to present your research findings and the reasons behind your design decisions.
5. Strong written communication ability, as you may be involved in writing copy for the website.
6. Creativity and innovation to come up with new ideas.
7. Enthusiasm for design and technology.
8. Experience of using prototyping software tools, for example, FlowMapp, Axure Pro, and VisuaSiteMaps.
9. The ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop.
