Hours per week: 2 hours every morning - 8am - 10am. Job share is available
Hourly pay rate: £15.00 per hour
I am looking for someone to assist me with some personal care and to support me with my role of being a mother. I am a 30 year old woman living with my husband and 2 year old son. I will need support with personal care in the mornings as well as getting myself ready for the day. I use a hoist to transfer to my wheelchair however training will be provided to do this. I require assistance with preparing meals and household tasks. Ideally the successful applicant will be flexible and willing to cover when other PAs are on leave. This will be a rewarding role with all necessary training provided.
Duties include:
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Occasional assistance with the care of a baby/child
Assist with physiotherapy exercises
Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Non smoker due to working around a baby
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
