Are you a detail-oriented Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects? Join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead fit-out projects from inception through to practical completion and beyond, working directly with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Coordination: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for your assigned fit-out projects. Develop and oversee project timelines, milestones, and programmes to meet contractual obligations and client expectations.
2. Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients on your assigned projects, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Regularly communicate project updates, addressing any client queries or concerns. Produce regular contractor’s reports.
3. Budget Management: Control and track project budgets to ensure profitability, complete valuations, and maintain accurate cost records. Prepare budget forecasts and ensure any variations are managed in line with contract terms.
4. Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain safety protocols across all sites in accordance with Health and Safety legislation. Ensure site conditions are safe for all team members and contractors.
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain the highest standards of workmanship. Address quality issues as they arise to ensure alignment with client and project specifications.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Manage Planning and Building Control applications, ensuring all required permits and approvals are obtained promptly and all documentation is up-to-date.
7. Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project timelines and deliver to required standards.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial fit-out projects and possess strong organisational and leadership skills. You’ll be detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple priorities, and committed to achieving project objectives on time and within budget.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial fit-out industry.
2. Familiarity with building regulations, construction standards, and Health and Safety requirements.
3. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and project valuations.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to client management.
5. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
6. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
7. SMSTS and First Aid certifications are desirable.
