Audit Manager
Do you have 3-5 years of working within a UK based accountancy practice?
Our client, an established accounting practice in the industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join their team.
As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit and assurance assignments, including charities, solicitors, and commercial audits, while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will also play a key role in the growth of the practice by managing current clients and acquiring new ones. Occasional visits to other member firms may be required.

Location: Open to location depending on candidate can either be based in - Manchester, Richmond, London, Croydon, Ilkley, Scunthorpe, Bury, Tunbridge Wells, Southampton, Limington, Stevenage, Amersham, Coventry, Gateshead, Consett, Sedgefield or Redcar - 5 days a week in the office
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
1. Plan and carry out audit assignments for clients.
2. Ensure the audit team completes work within the allocated timetable and budget.
3. Supervise and support junior staff both locally and internationally.
4. Communicate with clients regarding audit progress and account-related matters.
5. Advise clients on areas of business improvement and negotiate terms of business.
6. Ensure accurate and timely billing and receipts.
7. Collaborate with the India team and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
8. Maintain professional knowledge through continuous professional development.
9. Travel to other offices and clients as required.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (ACA/ACCA) in a practice environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS, and ISA.
3. Strong report writing skills.
4. Proficiency in CaseWare and IRIS software.
5. Familiarity with the Mercia methodology.
