We are excited to announce a new position within our Philanthropy, Engagement and Partnerships (PEP) team. The role of the Campaign Manager is to work effectively with senior college leadership in establishing systems that foster a sustained, long-term approach to our various fundraising campaigns. This position has a strong focus on project management, building bridges with stakeholders, and managing logistical details. The individual will be highly organised, conscientious, and have experience delivering at pace in a similar role.
The Campaign Manager will develop and implement multiple campaign strategies, culminating in the launch of a major capital campaign within the next two years. The ideal candidate will have the ability to appreciate the bigger strategic picture whilst providing the logistical support needed to achieve project goals.
The Campaign Manager will focus on executing multiple campaign activities, manage campaign timelines, and ensuring smooth coordination across various stakeholders. This role involves event coordination, donor and prospect data analysis, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate campaign success.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Campaign Coordination
* Provide significant contribution to the strategic planning for multiple fundraising campaigns.
* Manage and maintain various campaign timelines, ensuring team members progress towards key milestones and deliverables.
* Coordinate internal and external meetings related to campaigns, including preparing participants, setting meeting agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
Donor and Prospect Management:
* Prepare donor profiles, proposals, and reports to support cultivation and engagement efforts.
* Draft and coordinate correspondence with donors, including thank-you letters, invitations, and updates.
* Create campaign-specific prospect lists, working with the Philanthropy Operations team to maximise and streamline outreach efforts.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of campaign prospects and donors in the Raiser’s Edge donor management system.
Event Support:
* Participate in the planning and execution of campaign-related events, such as receptions, donor tours, and information sessions.
* Lead on events and logistics including venue booking, catering, and preparing materials.
Communications and Materials:
* Draft campaign materials, including case statements, donor communications, and other resources.
* Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Volunteer Support:
* Provide logistical support for campaign-related volunteers, including board members, staff, faculty, and alumni– scheduling meetings and providing necessary materials.
* Act as a point of contact for campaign-related volunteer inquiries and requests.
Reporting and Data Management:
* Generate and provide initial analysis of regular campaign progress reports for the senior leadership team and the board of directors.
* Monitor and track campaign metrics, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
There will be a requirement to travel worldwide during key campaigns and projects.
Essential Skills, Experience and Attributes
* Proven ability to confidently communicate with and inspire individuals and groups spanning diverse backgrounds, socio-economic strata, and positions.
* A minimum of three years’ experience in fundraising, project management, sales, or other relevant roles.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively at pace, prioritising work to ensure the effective handling of multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships, working collaboratively with colleagues, Alumni, Governors, Volunteers and other stakeholders.
* Ability to successfully work independently, under own initiative and as part of a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite, or ideally, Google Workspace)
* Proficiency in using a donor or sales management software.
* Excellent persuasive communication skills – both written and verbal.
Desirable Skills
* Relevant qualifications in a field related to Business, Communications, or Project Management.
* Experience with the Raiser’s Edge donor database software.
* Knowledge of fundraising best practices and ethical standards, as outlined by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
