Indeed, 2023 outcomes placed the academy second in the local authority for overall progress which was "above" national average at and its attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths was 74% and 50% respectively. Provisional results for 2024 see this trend continuing with students’ performance in English and Maths being significantly above national averages.
The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
In January 2017, the academy moved into a new building which provides state of the art facilities and an outstanding learning environment for both students and staff.
