Role Responsibilities Support the Security Controller in the management of security (corporate and government) across all CL sites. Focus on protective security, however working knowledge of personnel and cyber security is essential. Support security-related audits and visits from accreditors and customers. Maintaining and implementing security policies and procedures. Ensuring adherence to Government, legislative and CL policies across the company including GovS007, Government Security Classifications Scheme etc Ensure compliance with Security Aspects Letters (SALs) and maintain a register of SALs. Conduct security inductions/briefings, security awareness training, security process training, project read-on and debriefs. Conduct Security risk assessments, present findings to senior leadership or project teams and implement identified mitigations. Support in the management security incidents, carry out investigations and report findings to the Security Controller Provide regular updates on company security to the Senior Leadership Team. Own and maintain Protected Document Registers, Asset Registers, Removable Media Registers, and other security documentation. Provide training to users in the day-to-day maintenance of security documentation. Provide expert advice on physical security hardware implementation. Work with project teams for security management of individual projects. Assist HR/Personnel Security Controller with security vetting enquiries, VSI checks, vetting status confirmation for external visits and aftercare. Liaise with IT department to ensure compliance of company networks and IT infrastructure with legislative and customer requirements. First point of contact for security-related matters throughout the company with knowledge and when to escalate further. Support to Identify, manage, and escalate security risks within the Company. Carry out day-to-day security activities including maintenance of codes, recording of audit logs, specify and procure approved physical security hardware, conduct regular inspections, and spot checks, and coordinate security passes and access to areas. Perform other related duties as required About You Skills: Essential Experience in a similar role (FSC Security Controller or similar) Knowledge of and experience working with Government Security policies including but not limited to: Government Standard 007, Government Security Classification scheme, National Security Act 2023. The ability to prioritise workload, apply a pragmatic approach within the bounds of applicable legislation and multi-task in an agile working environment without compromising security outcomes. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve required security outcomes for the Company. Experience undertaking risk assessments and developing risk management plans. Experience with process improvement and implementation of changes. Experience developing and maintaining a security culture within the business. Desirable Completion of DISA Role of the Security Controller or MoD Security Controller training is desirable. Working knowledge of ISO 27001 is advantageous but not essential for this role.
