Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* The successful apprentices will be fully trained in manufacturing wooden components using both traditional and CNC machinery
* The apprentice will be able to assess the safest, and most efficient, method of production
* The apprentice will learn to work individually and as part of a team
* Accuracy and pride of work is a major factor in this role
* Reporting of performance and improvement actions using the approved process
* Interacting with peers and managers to resolve issues and drive improvements
