Purpose
The purpose of the role will be to:
* Provide accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders, including the Senior Manager RTR and the Group Financial Controller RTR.
* Operate within the RTR stream, working closely with site accountants to deliver on the financial performance of the business unit and subsequent reporting.
* Leverage excellent ERP & IT skills to deliver solutions to issues arising.
* Suit someone who is flexible and adept at problem solving.
* Ensure that all relevant Sox controls are completed in the area.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team producing financial reporting for all business units, reporting to the Senior Manager RTR.
* Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information and associated reporting to Pilgrims US.
* Input into relevant areas of monthly and quarterly disclosures.
* Complete all reporting in line with established group timetables.
* Develop deep knowledge across a range of areas including revenue, cost of sales, overheads, inventory, and fixed assets.
* Deliver key balance sheet account reconciliations which will feed into the overall entity reconciliations.
* Complete relevant areas in relation to annual and statutory accounting.
* Work with other members of the finance team to ensure consistency of working across the business units and to ensure best practices are implemented and followed.
* Work on cross-functional projects where required, providing expert guidance from a financial viewpoint.
Essential Criteria
* Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
* Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders, including Senior BU finance staff.
* A team player who can work collaboratively across business units.
* Strong interpersonal, planning, and presentational skills.
* Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Flexible regarding travel requirements.
