Ventilation Surveys and Services are a nationwide business that delivers Ductwork Cleaning, Air Conditioning and Fire Compliance projects throughout the UK. We undertake works for large FM Companies, Government and local authorities, healthcare, retail and leisure sectors.
From start-up in 2010 the business has grown to employ 74 staff and has revenues that exceeds £7.0 million per annum, and revenue for 2024 is expected to exceed £7.2 million with 15-20% targeted revenue growth predicted for 2025.
The business is run from a new purpose-built HQ in Liverpool with regional offices in London and Belfast. Most staff work remotely as customer site-based operational teams supported by the Central Management, Finance and Administration teams.

We are market leaders in our field and have experienced exceptional growth and are looking for an ambitious Grease Management Supervisor.
Job Title: Grease Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Field Based, will be expected to travel within the UK.
Salary: Will be dependent upon experience, with starting salary of £31,600 excluding overtime and our generous staying away allowance.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, including some weekend working and overtime as required.
Main Duties:
To deliver site works and services to VSS clients effectively and efficiently. To lead and oversee operatives as required. To operate within VSS safety and operational standards whilst adhering to TR19 guidelines. The core work duties will include:
* Maintenance, servicing including some waste removal and repair works of installed grease traps typically located inside restaurants and supermarkets.
* Completion of remedial works surveys and installs of new equipment.
* Reactive call out servicing.
* Liaising closely with Operations team to ensure scheduling & equipment are effectively managed.
* Updating the asset management database.
A basic knowledge of plumbing and drainage would be desirable as these systems require unblocking, desludging and problem solving on site to ensure the assets are maintained and working prior to and remedial re-instalments as recommended by the Grease Maintenance supervisor.
Strong communication skills will be essential to ensure the client is communicated with at all times whilst attending any site to ensure they are receiving the highest level of professionalism, dedication whilst achieving the desired outcome through VSS.
The secondary duties will also include ventilation systems cleaning and fire damper inspections as and when required (training to be provided as applicable).
Requirements:
Essential:
* Demonstrable grease trap maintenance experience ideally with remedial install knowledge.
* Driving Licence.
Desirable:
* Air hygiene experience.
* Fire Damper experience.
* Supervisory experience.
