Support Worker Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Supported Living Service in Kidderminster. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs and be able to provide person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support individuals with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches.
2. Administer medication, cook, clean, and complete paperwork as needed.
3. Provide emotional and practical support to enable individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
4. Assist individuals in accessing community facilities and participating in community groups.
5. Build relationships with individuals to promote independence and improve quality of life.
6. Empower individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Person Specifications:
1. Female applicants only.
2. Experience within the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent essential.
3. Must have experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours.
4. Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
5. Good time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility.
6. IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
7. Positive 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills.
8. Compassionate, caring, and positive personality.
9. Possess a genuine passion for making a real difference in people's lives.
10. Full UK Driving Licence required.
