We are delighted to be working on behalf of one of the longest-established law firms in East Anglia, who are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary within their friendly Wills & Probate team. Skills & Experience: Proven Legal Secretarial experience gained from a professional law firm, with a good understanding of Wills & Probate Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office, document management and legal document production software Organised with a flexible approach to work Exceptional problem-solving abilities Audio typing skills (desirable) Key Duties & Responsibilities: Providing effective and efficient secretarial support to the Wills & Probate team Keeping Records up to date and general filing (both paper & electronic documents). Archiving Files. Typing up Legal Documents, including transcribing audio dictation, correspondence, emails, and all other like documents. Answering the phone and making a documented record. Organising diaries and making appointments for fee earner(s). Receiving “On Account” payments from Clients and referring these to accounts department. Informing accounts department of any Client changes. Generally finalising matters and obtain edger printouts before closing file. Covering reception as and when required. (V/13083)
