Job Description:
As a Supply Teacher based in North West England, specifically in Greater Manchester and Stockport, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students across various age groups and subjects. Your role will involve stepping in for permanent teachers when they are absent due to illness or other reasons, ensuring continuity in education.
Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students according to the school's curriculum
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational goals of the school
* Adhere to school policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Proven experience in teaching or working with students
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
* Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications in specific subject areas
* Experience working as a supply teacher in a similar setting
* Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
You will work full-time hours on a contract basis, providing cover for absent teachers as required. The role may involve working in different schools and classrooms, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will receive competitive daily rates between £120 and £140, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
