We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our People Services Team on a Fixed Term Contract until 30 September 2025. This is a key role to deliver our HR transactional activities at pace during a busy time. You will develop a detailed understanding of National Grid’s HR processes working across different teams, systems, and stakeholders to deliver a stellar experience for our colleagues. You'll need to utilise this breadth of knowledge to highlight areas of risk that could impact delivery of business strategy and drive implementation of improvements and solutions in an agile way.
You'll be expected to develop close working relationships with stakeholders and teams, utilising appropriate HR knowledge and ideally have experience with SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and SAP Payroll.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least one day per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you.
Key accountabilities
* Manage queries from employees: Answer calls and reply to emails relating to HR and employee issues.
* Update and Manage Data: Maintain data within ServiceNow (query management solution).
* Escalations: Support and coordinate all escalations across all services lines through to completion; report and provide insight on live escalations.
* Metrics and KPIs: Ensure relevant metrics and KPIs are achieved and foster continuous improvement.
* Internal Relationships: Work effectively with related teams and key customers to ensure seamless HR processes in People Services.
About you
* Experience working within an HR Shared Service function.
* Good working knowledge of ‘hire to retire processes’.
* Proven experience of query management of payroll and benefits related processes.
* Experience delivering payroll and benefits knowledge training to team members.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good planning and organizing with excellent attention to detail.
* Passion and commitment to excellence in continuous improvement and quality.
* Strong results orientation with openness and flexibility to change.
* Working knowledge of SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and SAP Payroll is advantageous.

A competitive salary of £34,871 pro-rata. This role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract until 30 September 2025.
