Vibe Auto Recruitment is excited to be working on behalf of our client,in the automotive industry, to find an experienced and dedicated Parts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized individual with a strong background in automotive parts management to contribute to a growing and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive parts to ensure stock levels are accurate and efficiently managed.
Stock Control & Ordering: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and place timely orders with suppliers to meet business needs.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating pricing and ensuring the timely delivery of parts.
Team Leadership: Manage a small team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
Customer Service: Assist in parts sales to both internal teams and external customers, offering expert advice on parts and systems.
Quality Control: Ensure that all parts meet the required quality standards and address any issues related to damaged or incorrect parts.
Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, stock levels, and audits. Generate detailed reports on stock movement, sales, and supplier performance.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the parts department operates in line with all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems, with the ability to identify and source the right parts efficiently.
Leadership Skills: Experience managing a team, with a focus on productivity, customer satisfaction, and employee development.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
IT Skills: Competent in using inventory management systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
