We are seeking a detailed-oriented, proactive Payroll Manager to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with regulations in our business services sector. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll accuracy. Resolve employee complaints regarding payroll issues. Prepare reports for senior management, finance department, and auditors. Stay informed about payroll tax laws and regulations. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for payroll department. Ensure weekly timesheets are inputted accurately and obtained on time. Produce and upload BACS file for payment. Generate weekly invoices Profile A successful Payroll Manager should have: A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role in the Manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of Sage50 and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes. Outstanding communication and leadership abilities. Superior numerical and analytical skills.
