In this role you will be responsible for project management and delivering the safe provision of Network Investment programmes of work, with strict adherence to the appropriate regulatory and license obligations for the electricity distribution network, helping Scottish Power Energy Networks work toward Net 0 for the UK.
What you’ll be doing
1. Deliver licence area / district business plan outputs whilst optimising return through incentive mechanisms.
2. Effectively develop, mentor & manage a small number of individuals to maximise productivity, performance, quality, and effectiveness.
3. Customer and stakeholder engagement.
4. Deliver robust project plans and a portfolio of capital investment projects.
5. Ensure efficient and effective delivery of performance targets as appropriate, such as:
1. CI/CMLs
2. Broad Measure of Customer Satisfaction
3. Guaranteed Standards
4. Other Incentive mechanisms
6. Promote an exemplary safety culture whilst driving continual performance improvement.
7. Integrate asset stewardship and ownership values to improve integrity, safety and longevity of the electrical network.
8. Take ownership for the quality and financial assurance of projects delivered by the team.
What you’ll bring
1. Project / Programme Management experience.
2. Expert knowledge of:
1. Construction and maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
2. Engineering standards and specifications up to 33kV.
3. Expert knowledge of the regulatory environment.
4. General contract, commercial awareness as well as experience in an operational environment.
5. Ability to manage, motivate, coach, and develop individuals.
6. Track record of effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management and the ability to present information effectively at all levels.
7. Ability to manage competing priorities and devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.
