This position is for you! We seek relief Support Workers with attention to detail, resilience, and a desire to make a positive impact.
What will you do?
Our support aims to positively influence the daily lives of those we assist. Your day may start with helping clients prepare in the morning, such as showering, using the bathroom, and dressing. Daily activities vary and may include shopping, keeping fit, attending clubs, or simply providing companionship while watching TV. Support with medication and medical appointments may be required, with full training provided.
These individuals are lively and fun. Can you support them to lead meaningful lives? We welcome new ideas and activities.
Where are our services?
We operate in Wrexham Ponciau, Ruabon, Llay, and Coed-y-Glyn. You will be matched to a service that fits you best. Each client has their own flat or bungalow, allowing independence.
As a relief staff member, you will primarily work at one location but may be needed elsewhere.

A caring, patient, and creative attitude is essential. Training in first aid, safeguarding, and medication administration will be provided, with scheduled courses during your employment.
Holding a manual UK driving license is required, as driving facilitates client activities. You won’t be racing between appointments.
Support is 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility and readiness for short-notice shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, are desirable. We understand you may have other jobs and will give notice when possible.
Pay details:
Wrexham Relief Support Workers earn £12/hour, with opportunities for sleep-ins at an extra £65/night, potentially adding £3,380 annually with one sleep-in per week.
