Private Client Solicitor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Kettering Area
Working: Monday to Friday
Holidays: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000
Experience Required: 3+ years PQE
A well-established regional law firm is looking to appoint a skilled and experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team. This opportunity is based at the firm's Corby office, servicing clients across Northamptonshire and beyond.
The successful candidate will be a confident, technically proficient professional with the ability to independently manage a full caseload of Private Client matters, offering tailored, practical legal advice with a strong focus on client care.
Key Responsibilities:
A start up role to establish business in the Kettering area. This role would suit a self-starter who wants to eventually grow a team.
Managing a varied caseload including:
Wills and Estate Planning
Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
Trusts
Probate and Estate Administration
Inheritance Tax Planning
Providing clear and empathetic advice on complex and sensitive legal matters.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service.
Business Development:
Take an active role in developing business in the Corby area, particularly by connecting with local individuals and businesses.
Work collaboratively with internal commercial teams to explore cross-referral opportunities and expand the client base.
Attend networking events and represent the firm professionally within the community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 3 years PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive within Private Client law.
Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and personable approach to client interaction.
A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for developing new business opportunities.
