Overview of Role: Utilise the local employer market to start and develop tech and digital careers for people in the region. Exceed KPI targets by ensuring continuous building and maintenance of a sizeable employer opportunities pipeline and converting the required number of employer opportunities to employer vacancies for TDM apprenticeships.

Core Responsibilities (Right Seat):
1. Attend relevant networking events to generate leads and build relationships with employers.
2. Effectively demonstrate TDM’s value proposition to potential partners and secure a formal commitment from an employer to deliver an apprenticeship to a new recruit, reskill an existing employee or to engage with other TDM coaching programmes, such as Skills Bootcamps.
3. Proactively work with TDM’s talent pool, speculatively approaching employers by engaging in outbound prospecting activities via telephone, LinkedIn, email or networking opportunities to open up new opportunities with employer organisations.
4. Conduct interviews with applicants who attend TDM’s applicant day providing impartial information, advice and guidance and evaluate their suitability to put forward to interviews with our employer vacancies and for our programmes.
5. Work closely with the employer engagement team to match candidates to the live vacancies and arrange employer interviews for TDM Apprenticeships.
6. Support with preparing your candidates for employer interviews and obtain learner and employer feedback post interview for each candidate to discuss with them.
7. Generate new business through effective telephone, marketing and customer engagement activities by ensuring the company’s standards are exceeded.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and candidates.
9. Effectively filter and drive the conversion of prospective learners onto programmes.
10. Regularly communicate with and motivate candidates to engage.
11. Ensure high-quality candidates are placed quickly, always supporting both the candidate and employer.
12. Compellingly present a range of TDM services in public/online presentations.
13. Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes and systems.
14. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
15. Compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials.
Ideal Candidate:
Required:
* A history of converting prospects into sign-ups.
* A history of B2B sales experience.
* Experience attending networking events.
* An individual who has a passion for working with and fostering relationships with employers, stakeholders and learners.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills.
* General IT Skills (Excel, Word, updating a CRM system etc).
* The ability to deliver against TDM values and communicate with individuals from various backgrounds.
* The ability to adapt to changing legislation, multi-task and use a variety of systems as required.
* Due to the nature of this role a full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary.
Preferred:
* A background in the recruitment or apprenticeship sector.
