This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career with a Modern, Resilient and Flexible Local Authority. We are offering an Apprenticeship in our Business Support Hub team including a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. On completion there may be the possibility of a permanent position within the team.
Business Support is Derby City Council’s centralised administrative service and provides a wide range of services across the different departments within the council. The role is based within the Business Support Hub, and we are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking person to join our busy team. You will need to be enthusiastic with a professional outlook, a positive attitude to work, self-motivated, able to work as part of a team, and focused on achieving your goals and aspirations with a commitment to your own personal development. You will have the opportunity of a mixed working week with three days based in the Council House and the remaining time working from home.
Essential requirements:
1. Maths and English GCSE Grade 4 and above (A – C) or equivalent.
2. Good IT Skills.
3. Able to work as part of a team.
4. Good communication and customer service skills.
5. Practical approach.
6. Ability to understand basic legislative requirements.
