Job Title: Purchase Ledger Manager
Reports To: Finance Manager
Due to planned and continued growth within our businesses, JMAC has an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Manager. We work in a wide range of sectors manufacturing, distribution, hire & sales and offer a range of multi discipline services to various sectors.
You will be employed by – JMAC Hire & Sales (Employer).
However, as part of your employment you are required to work within a Group Role whereby you will be working for all Group Entities namely, JMAC Contracting Services, JMAC Scaffolding, JMAC Industrial Services, JMAC Hire & Sales, and JMAC Asset Integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will manage all aspects of the groups purchase ledgers, across all group entities, including:
* Responsibility for processing all supplier transactions in a timely, efficient and accurate way.
* Managing purchase ledger assistant’s workload and quality.
* Management of the groups Purchase Order system, ensuring strict procurement procedures are maintained.
* Control of all purchase ledger data entry.
* Working closely with other Finance functions to ensure efficient & accurate processing of bank transactions on to ledgers.
* Working closely with Treasury to manage supplier payment runs in an efficient & effective manner.
* Monthly supplier reconciliations for all key suppliers, by entity.
* Management of the group supply base, by entity, including developing new and maintaining existing supplier relationships.
* Working alongside management to further develop the Group Procurement strategy & supply base.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years experience in an Accounts/Finance team.
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role within Purchase Ledger.
* Knowledge of Xero Accounts system desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
