We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a Special School in Braintree. This full-time permanent position is ideal for an educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Whether you are experienced or looking to build on your teaching experience, this role provides excellent opportunities for professional growth.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of students. You will work closely with a team of supportive staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience as an SEN Teacher is desirable but not essential.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
