We have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to develop their career within the hospitality industry.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a keen interest in the food and beverage trade. The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in social media.
We have a full-time position available; however, the applicant must be flexible with their working week.
Salary will be dependent on experience with a range of staff benefits.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the hospitality department, including food preparation, production, and service.
2. Supervise a team of hospitality staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality service.
5. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special functions.
7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
8. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining area.
Requirements:
* The applicant must have a minimum of two years experience in the hospitality sector.
* The ideal candidate will have experience within both restaurant and function environments.
* Enjoy working as part of a team with a supportive attitude.
* Have the ability to manage and motivate a team of staff effectively.
* Have excellent attention to detail.
* Have a range of barista and beverage skills; cocktail training is desirable but will be provided if necessary.
* To be a successful part of our team, you should be outgoing, personable, and able to work in a busy environment.
* Cleanliness is essential.
* Must be able to think and perform under pressure.
* Must have the ability to motivate, train staff, and ensure standards are met within all areas of the business.
* To implement all policies and procedures as devised by management.
* To order, check, and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary.
* Control & coordinate staff as and when required.
