Saturday 07:45 to 13:30 and Sunday 07:30 to 13:30
A later finish will be required on occasion for extended events which will be paid as additional hours to the above.

The Minster School is a highly regarded, oversubscribed school, serving the local community of Southwell and surrounding villages. Alongside serving our own students, we are the home of East Midlands East Maths Hub, a strategic partner of the Redhill Teaching Hub and a member of the Minster Learning Alliance. The Minster School is a member of the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi academy trust.
The Minster School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, proactive and enthusiastic Caretaker/Lettings Officer for weekends. The school provides a dedicated lettings service to individuals, groups, businesses and the local community and we wish to grow on this success with this addition to our Site Team. We will provide all the tools and resources needed for the upkeep and security of the site and premises, ensuring the site is safe, clean and in good repair at all times.
The successful candidate will be observant and enthusiastic about performing to the best of their ability and will take pride in maintaining the school site to a high standard. Please note that this role involves physical effort e.g., porterage and moving furniture as well as some outdoor working and working at height. Training will be given but an awareness of safety issues and standards will be important when performing all duties.
The key responsibilities for this role are in providing an efficient and effective weekend caretaking/lettings service to the school and it's hirers; ensuring that the security and appearance of the school and its working environment are maintained in accordance with our policies and high standards. You will be the on site contact for all weekend users and develop an understanding of their requirements to facilitate a welcoming, courteous and professional service and be fully engaged in ensuring the health and safety and all other academy and trust policies are fully adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and be a polite and professional individual with great time keeping and time management skills, some fundamental knowledge of IT programs like Microsoft would be advantageous.
