Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bid Co-Ordinator located in Hillsborough County Down. This role will be critical in supporting and assisting the Bid Manager in the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and tenders, ensuring proposals align with company objectives and client requirements.
Main responsibilities:
* Assist and support the Bid Manager in the preparation and submission of bids and tenders
* Administrative duties across the end-to-end bid process
* Administration of tender portals
* Provide general administrative support within the bid team
* Log and process all new opportunities on company systems to maintain accurate records
* Maintain and update the bid library and databases, ensuring information is up to date
* Adherence with bid procedures and company processes
* Assist in completing prequalification, expression of interest and selection questionnaires and applications
* Support with drafting, formatting and quality control of bid and tender submissions and supporting documentation
* Coordinate communication within the bid teams throughout the bid lifecycle
* Collate and format RFIs/TQs/clarifications for submission to clients
* Assisting in development of final submissions, collating commercial and quality responses
Qualifications / Experience:
* Min 1 years Experience in bid administration and preparation
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams and also to work independently
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of construction industry practices
* Experience in working with Architects, Designers, or Contractors is a plus
* Ability to prioritize own workload
* Proactive and energetic approach
* 3 years of experience in a bid administration or coordination role
* Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for bid formatting and design
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, civils/infrastructure or engineering sectors
* Experience with using a company CRM system
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
