Main duties of the job
Are you self-motivated, enthusiastic, and looking for a new challenge? Would you like the opportunity to develop your nursing career in the integrated community setting? We are looking for compassionate, hardworking, and motivated community nurses to join our Bank to work various shifts in Integrated Community Adult Teams around Nottingham.
You will be providing care to patients within their own homes and care homes. You will liaise closely with local GPs and other members of the wider MDT, as well as with patients and their families; therefore, excellent communication skills are essential.
You must be a first-level registered nurse. We are seeking individuals who have relevant experience:
* Injections (insulins, sub-cut and IM).
* General Wound Care, applications of dressings and bandaging.
* Routine catheterisation of male, female, or suprapubic (any of these would be beneficial).
* Palliative Care.

You will be delivering nursing care to housebound patients in their own home and care homes as required. You will attend to planned home visits as well as emergency district nurse visits.

* Maintains current registration with the NMC.
* Demonstrate continued professional development to maintain professional registration.
Experience
* Demonstrates satisfactory clinical expertise for the banding.
* Specialist and area-specific experience.
Driving licence
* A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Skills
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to be flexible and handle conflict issues.
* Good skills in assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients' nursing care.
