Your Responsibilities as Senior Key Worker:
1. Care Leadership: Lead a team of key workers to provide person-centred support in line with individual intervention plans and the Care and Treatment Plans developed in collaboration with mental health teams.
2. Care Planning: Partner with the Registered Manager and Clinical Director to develop and review bespoke intervention plans.
3. Emotional and Practical Support: Help residents maintain independence and improve their quality of life while recognising the impact of severe mental illness.
4. Team Mentorship: Provide on-the-job guidance and coaching to staff, ensuring they feel confident and equipped to deliver high-quality care.
5. Crisis Management: Respond swiftly and effectively to setbacks in residents’ mental health, working closely with mental health professionals to ensure stability and support.
6. Activity Coordination: Develop personalised activity planners to help residents engage in hobbies, volunteering, and community participation.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain excellence in care delivery, ensuring adherence to CIW regulations and Fronhaul’s policies.
What Makes You Perfect for This Role?
1. Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential).
2. Experience: At least 2 years in mental health or residential care, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
3. Skills: Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership abilities with a commitment to teamwork and person-centred care.
4. Dedication: A passion for empowering individuals with mental illnesses and a focus on achieving the best outcomes for residents.
5. Knowledge: Familiarity with Care and Treatment Planning, Mental Health Measure (2010), and Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
