Our Client, an International EPCI Company, requires a Project Surveyor for their UK Operations. The position can be based in their Aberdeen or Surrey offices, with potential for fully remote work in the UK or EU. The position will be offered with an Outside IR35 Contract, negotiable daily rate, and a 6 - 12 month contract.
Role Overview
As Project Surveyor or Senior Project Surveyor, you'll support the Client's extensive portfolio of current and future projects managed from their offices in Norway and the UK.
Responsibilities
1. Provide survey support to SURF/IRM/Survey projects throughout the project life cycle.
2. Ensure all survey-related activities are undertaken in accordance with Company HSEQ procedures.
3. Provide technical and commercial input to tenders.
4. Develop project procedures and quality plans in alignment with Company processes.
5. Ensure that offshore personnel requirements are identified and communicated in a timely manner to the Survey Crewing & Logistics coordinators.
6. Identify required equipment and communicate these requirements to the internal survey engineering support group to ensure timely delivery of equipment to worksites.
7. Support projects during Client meetings and act as liaison on behalf of the project with both internal and external interfaces.
8. Attend onshore calibrations, SIT/FAT, at various locations and worksites as required.
Experience
1. Demonstrable experience in both offshore and onshore survey positions working in subsea construction support is essential.
2. High level of knowledge and understanding of current offshore construction/IMR/survey techniques, technologies, and best practices.
3. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues.
