Due to an increase in work on their HS2 Multi Utility Framework (Gas, Water & Electric) in Birmingham, our client, a top Utility and Civil Engineering provider, seeks to secure the services of a Health & Safety Advisor to support on these works.
Based from their offices in Birmingham and attending sites in the area, duties will include:
1. Reviewing and approving Risk Assessments and Method Statements
2. Conducting site investigations
3. Approving temporary works in terms of safety
4. Delivering project safety inductions
5. Undertaking random D&A tests
To be considered, you must have NEBOSH and ideally EUSR and SHEA, with training provided for this if required. You will also be a member of IOSH. You will have solid working knowledge of Utilities and UK H&S Legislation and have solid public relation experience.
In return, a top day rate is on offer along with a long-term contract on a highly prestigious scheme.
