We have a great opportunity for an experienced finance administrator to join our Lease Administration team based in Birmingham, working as part of Global Occupier Team. As part of the Lease Admin team, you will be pivotal when it comes to ensuring that rents due under our clients' leases are validated and paid on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Validation and processing of recurring and ad-hoc payments due under our clients' leases
2. Creation of payment files through their portfolio systems for submission to the clients for payment
3. Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with external and internal clients, colleagues, and management
4. Liaising with suppliers, managing agents, and other 3rd parties to obtain legal documentation in relation to invoice queries
5. Validating invoice header details and reviewing, coding, and authorizing invoices for payment
6. Investigating and resolving invoice queries
7. Ensuring client requirements and Cushman & Wakefield quality procedures are followed
8. Supporting the maintenance of BAU process documents
The ideal person will have experience within finance processing or real estate operation experience, which is an advantage but not essential. You will have strong IT and MS Office skills and the ability to adapt to new systems easily; having an analytical mindset is key.
This role will require you to work closely with the wider Cushman & Wakefield team and the client, so great written and verbal communication is key. You will be someone who enjoys being part of a team but is comfortable also working independently.
