The Role
Our client is seeking a Damp Project Support Officer to join our Repairs and Investment Team. This role involves providing administrative and project support for damp-related works and housing maintenance projects, ensuring smooth service delivery and excellent customer experience. You will coordinate resident communications, manage contractor work orders, handle reports and budgets, and assist with compliance and performance tracking.
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as a damp and mould liaison, working closely with residents and surveyors.
* Coordinating works orders to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
* Supporting data collection, performance monitoring, and reporting.
* Managing email inboxes, calendars, and correspondence.
* Assisting with budget planning, procurement, and invoicing.
* Liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate projects.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and council policies.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining high accuracy.
* Experience in writing reports, handling resident queries, and coordinating teams.
Desirable:
* Experience working with residents, councillors, and stakeholders
* Knowledge of housing repairs and asset management
* Understanding of procurement and budget tracking
