The post holder is responsible for the delivery of evidence based clinical standards, ensuring high quality care and providing effective leadership and management in relation to infection prevention and control. The post holder will manage the Infection prevention and control team provide clear and visible leadership for infection prevention at Liverpool Women`s Hospital to contain and reduce healthcare associated infections through risk assessment, surveillance, audit, education policies guidelines and post infection reviews. Main duties of the job Manage and develop the Trust's Infection Prevention and Control plans in conjunction with the Deputy Director of Infection Prevention (DIPC).Working closely with the Deputy DIPC and the Infection Control Doctor, the post holder will provide strategic leadership for delivery of the IPC agenda, and management of infection prevention.
