Customer Service Advisor based in Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Offering £13.49 per hour, paid weekly - every Friday
Full time, 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Temporary, on-going contract
The Role: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring to gain an understanding of the customers' wants and needs to successfully resolve their queries in a professional, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
You will be working within an FCA regulated finance service provider, supporting customers with queries regarding their pensions, investments, and insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver excellent customer service through multiple channels.
* Communicate clearly with customers and respond appropriately to their needs.
* Work accurately and efficiently to achieve quality standards and meet SLAs/KPIs.
* Drive through process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Observe legal obligations and adhere to the company's corporate policies and guidelines.
* Manage workload to ensure personal and team targets are met.
* Instigate, support, and drive through opportunities to improve the efficiency of processes and the customer experience.
The Location: Edinburgh
* This is a Hybrid opportunity - working typically 2 days in the office, 3 days from home (40% on-site).
* Hybrid working will come into effect following your training, typically expecting 8-10 weeks on-site full time.
The Hours: Working Monday to Friday, no weekend shifts between 8am - 6pm.
* Working 7 hour shifts between 8am-6pm - all candidates will need to be able to work all shifts on a rotational basis.
* Full time, 35 hours per week.
What we are looking for...
* Previous experience within Customer Service ideally within an office or phone-based position; we are open to other areas of customer service experience for the right candidate.
* Willingness and desire to learn.
* Genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with our customers.
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* Confidence in dealing with customer-based calls that can often be challenging or complex.
* Positive customer-oriented outlook.
* Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
