Join Securitas as a Security Officer in Royston!
Securitas, the world's leading provider of global security services, is renowned for our intelligent protective solutions that leverage people, technology, and expertise. We are currently seeking dedicated Security Officer to join our team in and around the Royston area.
As a Security Officer, you will receive comprehensive training across multiple sites, ensuring you are well-prepared to handle a variety of security tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting searches of individuals, vehicles, and belongings according to site protocols.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (09:00-18:00)
⏰ 45 hours per week
No experience required as training will be provided
£15.40 per hour
SIA license required
Driving License or have good travel links / Free parking onsite

Job Opportunity
* Friendly face, approachable and keeping people safe
* Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors.
* Meet and greet staff, visitors and contractors.
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
* Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
* Conduct external and internal security patrols.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
* Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
* Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
* Standing and walking for long periods of time
Essential Skills
* SIA Licence
* Driving Licence
* The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
* Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
* Regular physical searches and x-ray machine checks are mandatory on this site. If you have body piercings, you may be required to remove them before your shift.
