Locum Appointment for Training in Medicine of the Elderly

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term 6 Months, Full Time 40 hours per week post based in Western General Hospital.
This post is recognised for training at ST4 level and national eligibility criteria apply which include having passed all parts of the MRCP UK examination (written Part 1, written Part 2 and PACES). Please see full details in the Job Description.
This post offers excellent experience for those considering career in Medicine for the Elderly. There will be opportunities to gain experience of the general management of inpatients in the Medicine for the Elderly wards, clinics, stroke medicine, front door frailty, day hospital and liaison.
There will be opportunities to participate in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, perform quality improvement projects and clinical research.
