Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in a small family-owned and run beef and lamb abattoir in Crumlin. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, managing clerical tasks, and maintaining effective communication within the team. This position requires proficiency in various office software. Ideally, someone who has worked with SAGE or similar accounting systems previously.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a professional and efficient environment.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Handle incoming calls from customers and suppliers and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
* Assist with financial record keeping using SAGE, including invoicing and expense tracking.
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
* Provide clerical support to team members as needed, including typing documents and preparing reports.
* Coordinate office supplies and inventory management to ensure availability of necessary materials.
* Create reports and perform tasks using our software to record kill reports, payment reports, and customer orders.
* Producing reports from NAIFAIS.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
* Experience working with SAGE or similar accounting systems.
* Confident in using Excel spreadsheets.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* High level of accuracy in data entry tasks with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with general office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners) is advantageous.
* Ideally experience using NIFAIS, but not essential.

Start time: 7am

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
