Director, Contract Governance
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Director, Contract Governance, to be based out of our London Office.

We'll Count on You to:
1. Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including subscription and license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and amendment agreements - aiming to minimize legal, commercial, and financial risks to Fitch Solutions.
2. Collaborate closely with sales teams and Legal Counsel to establish appropriate terms and conditions for contracts.
3. Initiate and manage projects designed to mitigate commercial risk within the Commercial Organization.
4. Serve as the primary customer interface for large, complex contracts.
5. Revise and develop a comprehensive library of precedent contract terms.
6. Assist in, and when appropriate, lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, including legal identity forms and statements of accounts.
7. Investigate breaches of Subscription and License Agreements (SLAs) by subscribers.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement in collaboration with operational teams.
9. Support the fee negotiation process alongside the Sales team, subscribers, and their appointed legal representatives.
10. Provide advice and guidance to the Sales team to facilitate the settlement and payment of outstanding fees related to SLA breaches.
What You Need to Have:
1. Candidates should have proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or possess a law degree.
2. Ability to comprehend and translate business requirements into effective commercial and legal solutions.
3. Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
4. Exceptional communication skills, with a track record of engaging across all business levels, including international clients, and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Strong commercial acumen with a focus on fact-based decision-making.
