We are looking for experienced learning support assistants who are dedicated and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. The school caters for children and young adults from 5-18 years old with varied SEND needs, such as Autism, SEMH, Severe learning difficulties, and Speech and language communication difficulties.
Job Responsibilities
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to:
1. Support pupils on a 1:1 or group basis with their learning development and care needs while at school.
Job Requirements
1. Compliance to work
2. Possession of a child and adult DBS
3. Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) (not limited to a care background)
4. Availability for 5 days a week
5. Understanding that our students require consistency and the ability to refrain from taking holidays during term time
6. A high standard of professionalism
7. Ready to do personal care
8. Understands the need to work between our 4 sites
