Job Responsibility:
Southfields Care home provides exceptional levels of support to adults with Dementia, Physical disabilities, and/or Sensory impairments.
Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, we offer a wonderful living environment where our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. Our team of 40 provides the highest level of care to 33 residents, creating a home-like atmosphere where residents can feel comfortable and well cared for.
What will you be doing?
* Ensuring every resident feels seen, safe, and cared for.
* Building relationships with families or GPs to learn how to make residents feel supported and comfortable.
* Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties.
* Occasionally providing manual handling support when required.
* Applying cream and changing dressings as needed.
* Organizing and assisting with onsite social activities to help residents feel engaged.
20 hours per week: 9.45pm-7.45pm, a mix of weekdays and weekends on a clear 4-week rota.
About You:
We offer full hands-on training with relevant certifications, so prior experience is not necessary. However, you need to have the desire to make individuals feel seen and cared for.
We provide a minimum of 2.5 weeks of induction training and a further 2-4 weeks of a 'Buddy scheme' to help settle you in gradually.
A DBS check will be conducted at WNC's cost.
