About the Opportunity
As a Social Media Manager Volunteer, you will amplify Padocare’s mission by crafting compelling stories and campaigns that engage care providers, NHS partners, and families. Your creativity will drive awareness of our platform, inspire adoption, and highlight its life-changing impact on elderly care across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Content Creation: Design and schedule posts (graphics, videos, blogs) that educate care providers about the platform’s benefits (e.g., “How digital records reduce medication errors”).
* Platform Management: Manage Padocare’s social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) to foster a community of caregivers, tech innovators, and healthcare advocates.
* Campaign Execution: Develop campaigns around key themes like “Digital Transition Success Stories” or “Caregiver Spotlights” to humanise our impact.
* Audience Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and mentions, building relationships with care homes, NHS stakeholders, and health tech influencers.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs (engagement, conversions, follower growth) and adjust strategies to maximize reach and platform adoption.
* Compliance Awareness: Ensure all content aligns with NHS communication guidelines and patient privacy standards (no sensitive data sharing).
* Collaboration: Work with project managers and developers to translate technical updates into accessible, engaging social content.
Requirements
* Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook) and tools like Canva, Buffer, or Hootsuite.
* Portfolio or examples of past social media work (personal, academic, or volunteer projects accepted).
* Basic understanding of healthcare or elder care challenges (prior experience is a plus, not required).
* Strong writing and visual storytelling skills to simplify complex healthcare tech topics.
* Creative mindset with an eye for design (e.g., creating infographics or short videos).
* Passion for social impact and improving elderly care through technology.
Duration
Time Commitment: 2–3 hours per day (flexible scheduling).
Project Length: 3 months (60 working days).
Location: Fully remote.
